When using our myBeeHyve services, you may electronically submit data or information about your contacts or others in your network (“Your Contact Data”). We understand how important your business contacts are to your success. We will only host Your Contact Data and make it available to you through our Site. Unless otherwise required by law, we do not access, review, share, distribute, or reference Your Contact Data. We will not sell, transfer, or lease Your Contact Data to any third party unless part of a company sale or merger, as described below in the Use and Sharing of Information section.
Your use of this Site is conclusively deemed to be your acceptance of this Policy and your consent to the practices described. Please review this Policy carefully.
Information We Collect
Information about your contacts
When you submit Your Contact Data to the Site, it will be managed and maintained as described above.
Information you provide
You may provide us with, and we may collect, information that can be used to identify you as an individual. For example, we collect your name and email address in order to create and manage your user account. Other types of personal information we collect may vary depending on your use of the features of the Site. For example, when you register with the Site, we may also collect and store your company name, mailing address, telephone number, or other information you choose to include in your account profile. As another example, we may collect your mobile number or email address if you elect to receive communications from us.
We may also collect non-personal information that you provide that does not, on its own, identify you. We may collect, use, transfer, and disclose non-personal information for any purpose.
Information collected automatically
We collect some information automatically when you access and navigate our Site. This information includes Device Identifiers (a number or code that is associated with the computer or other device used to access the Site, such as an IP address) and Usage Information (information regarding how you access and use the Site, such as your browser type, operating system, application versions, the pages you visited on the Site, and the time you spent on each page). We use this information to maintain and improve the functionality of the Site to provide you with a better experience.
Use and Sharing of Information
We generally use the information we collect, including your personal information, to provide the services, experiences, and information you request. We may also use your information to:
- Register and service your account;
- Contact you and respond to your questions and requests;
- Send you promotional materials and other information about our services, features, and offerings;
- Provide you with customer support and troubleshoot problems;
- Perform analytics of the Site and otherwise conduct our everyday business operations;
- Protect the security and integrity of the Site;
- Protect against, identify and seek to prevent fraud and other unlawful activity, claims, and other liabilities;
- Comply with and enforce applicable legal requirements, relevant industry standards, contractual obligations, and our policies.
We may use data we collect or obtain regarding use of the Site or our services in an aggregate form for any purpose, and may sell, lease, or otherwise share that data with any third party. This aggregate data does not contain any information that can be used to identify an individual and does not include any of Your Contact Data.
We may share your information, including personal information, with service providers that help us run our business. For example, we may share information with our service providers to help us process payments for transaction purposes, and with other vendors that help us communicate with you through email.
Protecting Our Company and Others
We may also transfer and disclose your information, including personal information, to third parties:
- To comply with a legal obligation;
- When we believe in good faith that the law requires it;
- At the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation;
- To respond to an emergency; or
- To otherwise protect the rights, property, safety, or security of third parties, visitors to our Site, or the public.
We reserve the right to transfer your information, including personal information or Your Contact Data, in connection with an actual or potential sale or transfer of all or a portion of our business assets, including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings.
You can visit and browse the Site without providing any personal information, and you may choose not to provide us with any of the personal information that we request. Choosing not to provide us with the personal information we request may limit your ability to use this Site. For example, you cannot create an account with the Site without first providing us with the information we require.
Changing Your Information or Contact Preferences
If you create an account on the Site you can modify your information and contact preferences at any time by logging in to your profile on the Site and changing your information and preferences. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact us using the information provided in the “Contact Us” section of this Policy.
We may send you emails to communicate important information, notify you of new Site features, let you know about special promotions or offerings, and to otherwise stay in touch with you. You can opt-out of receiving these communications at any time by selecting “opt-out” on one of the email communications.
You can also choose not to provide us with some of the information that we collect automatically. Most web browsers allow you to choose whether to accept cookies, reject cookies, or receive notice each time a cookie is sent to you. Choosing to reject cookies can prevent the Site from collecting some of the information. However, please know that if your browser is set to reject cookies, the Site may not recognize you when you return, and some Site functionality may be lost. At this time, the Site does not respond to “do not track” signals.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect your personal information and Your Contact Data against loss, unauthorized use, disclosure, or destruction, and when transferring personal information for processing.
Additionally, your user account is protected by the password that you use to access the account. We urge you to use strong passwords and take steps to keep your passwords safe.
